Location affects every aspect of our lives. What is the best school zone? How far do I have to commute to work? Where is the nearest bike trail or movie theater? In December 2012, Different Perspective expanded to the heart of Downtown Orlando! We started the New Year in a new location with a new view.
Location can be the contributing factor in a business’s success. It’s up to the owner to decipher whether or not the company can be more successful elsewhere. For some businesses, location is not a factor in success whatsoever, such as mail-order businesses or those that work at the customer’s location such as roofers.
Your location can be a customer’s first impression of your business before walking in the door. There are four C’s that are important factors to keep in mind when choosing a location: your customers, community, competition and convenience. Since its inception in 2004, our advertising agency in Orlando has grown and taken on a new form, the move being an indication of this expansion. For our business, it was important to be centrally located and closer to other businesses. We also cater to our internal public of employees and interns. The new location made us more appealing to new talents and more accessible to the universities we have partnerships with.
In the end, it’s about what you perceive to be most important and how location affects your lifestyle. Here at DP, the view from Downtown Orlando is looking pretty good.
